The APC organized training for newly appointed public officials in Niksic

Continuing with educational activities and proactive practice, the Agency for Prevention of Corruption organized a one-day training on reporting income and assets and preventing conflicts of interest in Niksic on Friday, July 16.

In cooperation with the Office of the Chief Administrator, the training was conducted for newly appointed public officials, who took office during 2021, from the Secretariat for Local Self-Government, the Secretariat for Finance, Development and Entrepreneurship, the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Transport, the Property Directorate, Services for Assembly Affairs and Services of the Chief Administrator of the Municipality of Niksic.

Jasmina Maras, Head of the Department for Verification of Data on Income and Assets of Public Officials, and Stefan Radunovic, Head of the Department for Prevention of Conflicts of Interest of Public Officials, presented the practice, procedures and results of implementing legal obligations regarding reporting on income and assets of public officials and prevention of conflicts of interest in the exercise of public office.

By acting on the basis of its legal competencies and affirming the rule of law, the Agency remains committed to the preventive and educational role as the foundation of the process of reducing the actual and perceived level of corruption.
