APC leadership at the International Anti-Corruption Conference in Washington

The delegation of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, including Director Jelena Perović, Deputy Director Nina Paović, Council President Momčilo Radulović and Council member Zlatko Vujović, is in Washington from December 6 to 10, and is participating in the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) organized by Transparency International, and at the invitation of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO).

The conference gathers around two thousand participants, representatives of governments, international organizations and civil society, and deals with the topic of Uprooting Corruption, Defending Democratic Values, and represents a significant opportunity for exchanging good practices, making connections and highlighting the progress and challenges of the state parties in the fight against corruption.

During their stay in Washington, the Agency's delegation met with Richard Nephew, the State Department's Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption. At the meeting they discussed further models and methods of cooperation through the provision of support to the preventive anti-corruption institution. The representatives of the Agency took the opportunity to express their gratitude to the Embassy of the United States of America in Montenegro and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) for their support.
