At the invitation of the Anti-Corruption Network of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (ACN OECD), of which Montenegro is a member through the APC, Agency representatives Nina Paović, assistant director, and Marina Mićunović, head of the Section for International Cooperation, Standards and Public Relations, participated in a high-level meeting for decision-makers in the field of anti-corruption in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, held on November 16 and 17 in Paris.

During the first day, participants discussed topics dedicated to evidence-based anti-corruption reforms, strengthening integrity in areas vulnerable to corruption with a special focus on integrity in the business sector, as well as strengthening the prosecution and police in complex cases and cases of high corruption.

During the second day, on the eve of the meeting of the Management Board of the OECD Anti-Corruption Network, which was attended by head Mićunović, the participants supported the work plan of this network for the period from 2023 to 2026. It was confirmed to the representatives of the Agency that there is a possibility of obtaining expert support or organization of training by ACN OECD for the development of special criteria for the selection of management in state-owned enterprises in Montenegro. By defining clear criteria and rules in different segments of their functioning, strengthening anti-corruption measures and increasing transparency, the integrity of the entire sector would be strengthened.
