Announcement for political entities that participated in the local elections in Nikšić

Full transparency of election campaign financing and substantial control of activities and collected and spent funds is one of the fundamental preconditions for further development of trust in the election process.

According to the Article 50 of the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, political entities that participated in the local elections in Nikšić held on March 14 are obliged to make a report on the the origin, amount and structure of funds collected and spent from public and private sources for the election campaign and submit it, with accompanying documentation, to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

During the election campaign for the elections held on March 14, the Agency continuously recorded the activities of all political entities and controlled the contracts and supporting documentation obtained from service providers for those activities.

Based on the collected data on the activities of political entities, in accordance with the methodology of control of financing of political entities, the Agency will conduct substantial and in-depth control of the completeness and accuracy of submitted reports and inform the public about the results in accordance with the law.

The reports will be published on the website of this institution within seven days of receipt.

Giving a full contribution to the credibility and legality of the election process, the Agency will prepare and publish on its website a report on the conducted supervision during the election campaign and the control of the financing of the election campaign of political entities. The report will be adopted within the legal deadline, i.e. within 60 days from the day of announcing the final results, i.e. from April 8, 2021.
