Acting preventively, based on its legal competencies, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption informs state authorities of their legal obligation to submit excerpts from the records of gifts and reports on received sponsorships and donations.

Article 19, paragraph 1 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption stipulates that the authority is obliged to submit an excerpt from the records of gifts it keeps to the Agency by the end of March of the current year. Article 22, paragraph 1 of the Law prescribes the obligation of the state authorities to submit a written report on the received sponsorships and donations to the Agency by the end of March of the current year, with a copy of the documentation related to them.
