Continuing the practice of dialogue with the NGO sector, exchange of experiences and knowledge, and deepening cooperation in order to strengthen the legality and credibility of the election process, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Jelena Perovic and her associates held an online meeting with NGOs Center for Democratic Transition (CDT), Center for Monitoring (CeMI), the Center for Civil Liberties (CEGAS) and the Civic Alliance.

The interlocutors were acquainted with the Agency's actions received during the campaign for the local elections in Niksic, as well as the undertaken and planned activities in the control and supervision of the campaign for the local elections in Herceg Novi, which will be held on May 9.

After submitting and analyzing the report on the expenses of political entities, the Agency will, within the deadline provided by the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, prepare a final report on the control and supervision of the campaign in Nikšić.

Committed to the protection of the public interest, the Agency will, using its full capacity, while respecting the views of the civil sector, continue to make a full contribution to the transparency of the use of public resources and campaign finance.
