Support of numerous donors was significant in the previous period, and laregely aimed at establishing legislative and institutional framework.  The need to avoid overlapping of activities of both donors and competent state bodies, and aspiration to achieve the best possible results in  fighting corruption, led to the organisation of the first donor coordination meeting in this area.

First donor coordination meeting in the area of anti-corruption policy held on 19 June 2009 was organised by the Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative, and hosted  by European Commission Delegation in Podgorica.
