Council of the Agency Holds Its Eleventh Meeting

At today’s meeting of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Mr Sreten Radonjić, Director of the Agency, and Mr Dušan Polović, Head of Service for ICT and Date Security at the Ministry of Justice, informed the members of the Council on implementation of Conclusions of the Government of Montenegro No 08-909 of 8 May 2015, by which the Government allotted the office space of the Real-Estate Administration to accommodate the Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

Following a constructive discussion on Information on reconstruction of the work space of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, submitted by the Director of the Agency, who said that he would undertake all actions in order to enable the Agency to start operating at full capacity.

The Director of the Agency and the Head of Service for ICT and Date Security at the Ministry of Justice also informed the members of the Council on the course of development of web page of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, and announced that the web page of the Agency will be active on 1 January 2016, when the Agency starts its work. It was agreed that the web page of the Agency would be presented to the members of the Council at one of the upcoming meetings, and before the Agency starts its work.

After the presentation of the Form of the report on income and property of a public official by Ms Maja Karas-Bošković, advisor at the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests, the members of the Council adopted the Form and agreed that the Director would, at the earliest convenience, inform the members of the Council on the instructions for filling out the Form.

Within the item of the agenda: “Current issues”, Ms Aleksandra Vojinović, advisor at the Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative, informed the members of the Council on the status of the Twinning Project IPA 2014 “Support the implementation of measures in the field of integrity”.  She said that the project value is 600,000€, that the planned duration of the project is 18 months, and the expected beginning of the implementation was IV quarter of 2016. The members of the Council voiced pleasure over the support of the European Commission, especially because it was given at the very beginning of the work of the Agency.

In accordance with the good practice of the Council, the members of the Council have decided, in accordance with the law, to submit to the Institute Alternative the requested information - copies of audio recordings of the meetings of the Council.
