The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption points out to entities subject to the law the obligation prescribed by the provisions of the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns.
Political entities are obliged to make a report on the origin, amount and structure of funds collected and spent from public and private sources for the election campaign, with accompanying documentation, within 30 days from the day of the elections, that is by September 29, 2020.
Reports shall be submitted in electronic and printed form on forms established by the Agency, and shall be published on the website of this body.
Forms can also be downloaded in the section "Customer services / Download forms" on the Agency's website.
Entities subject to the law are obliged to submit the completed forms to the Agency in electronic form, in the section "Customer services / Sending forms". After the Agency's information system returns the form with the bar code to the user, the user is obliged to print, sign and submit the form to the Agency.
Substantial control over the financing of political entities in the election campaign is one of the basic competencies of the Agency prescribed by law. During the election campaign for the elections held on 30 August, the Agency continuously monitored the activities of political entities and service providers, with 156 service providers currently registered and 259 activities of all political entities in the amount of € 1,348,143 controlled.
Based on the collected data on the activities of political entities, the Agency will, in accordance with the previously developed methodology of control of financing of political entities, control the completeness and accuracy of submitted reports of political entities within the deadline prescribed by the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns.
The Agency will inform the public about the results of the analysis of reports and data on the election campaign of political entities in accordance with the law.
