Educational activities of the Agency

Within the framework of its educational responsibilities, the Agency has continuously been organizing training and seminars for various target groups on anti-corruption topics from the scope of responsibility of this authority.

In the first half of this year, the Agency organized 15 training events for almost 300 trainees, and since the beginning of its work around 100 training events for around 1,500 trainees. The Agency organized training independently, in cooperation with other state institutions and non-governmental organizations and via international projects.

Training activities were aimed at informing the trainees about the responsibilities and activities of the Agency, as well as about their duties in the implementation of anti-corruption laws from the responsibilities of this authority. The topics of the training were, among others, related to the prevention of the conflict of interests, strengthening integrity, reporting on incomes and property, acting upon the reports and protection of whistle-blowers, lobbying and control of financing of political entities and election campaigns.

The trainees were public officials, civil servants, members of local parliaments, judges and prosecutors, integrity managers, persons assigned to act upon the reports of whistle-blowers in public and private sector, representatives of political entities and NGO, students, etc.

The Agency has been implementing educational anti-corruption activities in compliance with Article 78 of the Law on Corruption Prevention, as well as in accordance with measures referred to in the Action Plan for Chapter 23 and Operating document for the prevention of corruption in the areas exposed to special risk.
