Meeting held with a representative of the World Bank

As an expression of commitment to further strengthening cooperation with international partners, Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, Ms. Jelena Perovic, President of the APC’s Council, Mr. Momcilo Radulovic and Head of the Department for International Cooperation and Standards, Ms. Marina Micunovic met with World Bank Manager for Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Emanuel Salinas.

The meeting discussed modalities for potential cooperation between the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and the World Bank.

Mr. Salinas expressed the readiness of the World Bank to examine the possibilities of future cooperation, explaining to the representatives of the Agency the functioning of the World Bank in the field of providing support to institutions in their work.

The President of the APC’s Council, Mr. Momcilo Radulovic, welcomed the World Bank's readiness to establish cooperation with the Agency, and presented to Mr. Salinas the Agency's competencies and institutional positioning of this institution as an independent body in relation to the three branches of government in Montenegro.

Also, the representatives of the Agency informed Mr. Salinas about the key activities of the Agency in the period after the election of the new management of this state institution, as well as about the priority activities in its future work.
