Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative organised a one-day seminar on “Integrity Plans” in cooperation with the Human Resources Management Authority.

Director of the Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative, Vesna Ratkovic, PhD, introduced the participants to the importance of the principle of integrity in combating corruption. She pointed out the importance of ethical, professional and responsible behavior of employees. She reminded that several state bodies have already adopted their integrity plans and noted that the obligation of adopting integrity plans in the public sector is defined in the new Law on Civil Servants and State Employees.

Mr. Becir Kecanovic, representative of the Commission for Prevention of Corruption in Slovenia, familiarized the attendands with Slovenian experiences in implementation of integrity plans and stressed the importance of adopting integrity plans for prevention of corruption. In addition, Mr. Kecanovic gave attendants the guidelines for preparation of integrity plans.

The seminar was attended by 19 civil servaints. DACI’s informational materials were distributed to the participants.
