Meeting Held between APC Director and Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Montenegro

Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Mr. Sreten Radonjić met ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Montenegro H.E. ambassador Meglena Plugtschieva.

Director informed ambassador Plugtschieva about competences and key results of the work done by the Agency in the previous period and about priorities set in 2019.

Topics for discussion included modalities of improving cooperation between Montenegro and Bulgaria in prevention of corruption and possibility of establishing cooperation between the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and anticorruption bodies of the Republic of Bulgaria for the purpose of exchanging experiences and good practice from related competences of these two bodies.

Moreover, director of the Agency and ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria emphasised importance of the cooperation between Montenegro and Bulgaria in prevention of corruption in the framework of activities performed by international organisations, and particularly by anticorruption initiative for Southeast Europe and GRECO.
